Jane Fonda and 33 Variations Play Final Notes on Broadway

Most audience members get at least a little misty by the end of Moisés Kaufman’s moving, music-filled 33 Variations, but the May 21 closing-night performance elicited a few extra sniffles. Even Tony-nominated star Jane Fonda was clearly sad to see her three-and-a-half-month limited Broadway engagement come to a close. Broadway.com was there as everyone at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre said their farewells.
