A Splashy Opening for Christine Lahti and A Body of Water
Primary Stages presented the New York premiere of playwright Lee Blessing’s A Body of Water at 59E59 Theaters on October 14—and the debut went swimmingly (watery pun intended). The drama, about a couple who awake one morning in a serene lake house with no idea who they are or how they got there, welcomed stars Christine Lahti, Michael Cristofer and Laura Odeh to the intimate space, as well as scribe Blessing, whose award-winning Going to St. Ives played Primary Stages’ theater in 2005. Following the show’s bows, the Primary gang made its way to restaurant Sarabeth’s uptown locale for a sophisticated after party. Click here to dive into A Body of Water.
