!Three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella proved yet again that he was a man for any fantastic theater season on October 7, opening the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of Robert Bolt’s
A Man For All Seasons at the American Airlines Theatre. The prodigious talent, who has played former presidents, epic villains, famous literary figures and even Dracula, added sainted Sir Thomas More to his resume, tackling the juicy role in the historic tale of politics vs. principle alongside co-stars including Zach Grenier, Maryann Plunkett, Hannah Cabell, Michael Esper, Michel Gill, Patrick Page, Triney Sandoval and Jeremy Strong. Fittingly, the opening coincided with the second presidential debate, though it was obvious from the packed house that most theatergoers, if given a chance, would vote for Langella.
