Cheers to Absurd Person Singular's Opening
Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular opened at the Biltmore Theatre on October 18. After the raucous performance, the cast, director John Tillinger, numerous MTC staffers and starry guests headed to the nearby Supper Club to toast and meet the press. The six-character comedy is the sixth Ayckbourn play to be produced by the Manhattan Theatre Club in an almost 20-year span. This event called for an absurdly celeb-filled celebration, with plenty of grins and clinking of glasses. Cheers!
