About All In: Comedy About Love

All In: Comedy About Love by Simon Rich is a series of hilarious stories about dating, heartbreak, marriage and that sort of thing, adapted from the short stories of Simon Rich, and performed by a rotating cast of some of the funniest people on the planet. Sometimes they will play pirates, sometimes they will play dogs, and there’s one where we make them talk in British accents. But even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with. We hope everybody will relate to it, even if it was their date’s idea to come and they are starting out from a place of quiet resentment.

Do not see this show unless…
"You really want to see a well acted, well produced, well musically-enabled show that featured prominent talent in an excellenty humorous production that we will talk about for the rest of your life. No, I don’t own any stock in the production! "

Came to see this week’s cast and was not disappointed.
"The back and forth between Fallon, Kroll, Miranda, and Bryant was quick, on point, and very funny. Watching the cast try not to crack up made it more enjoyable. Lin Miranda set the tone with his monologue. Death and the baby sketch were hysterical. Having Nick come out dressed as Death after the show was a definite exclamation point!"

A In Review
"This is a unique show, probably not for Broadway pureists, but really, really funny, well-written, clever comedy with an amazing cast. The play is effectively a series of "love" stories told by the cast with music performances between each of the stories. The cast is sitting in chairs and reading the stories from books, but there are opportunities for them to be "in character". The writing is fantastic and the performances are amazing. I would not recommend the show for children, there are quite a few swear words and sexual content (John Mullaney opens the show with a joke about a 12 inch pianist). "

a Great time was had by all
"This was a fun experience for all. My only negative is that I would have preferred more. It was only an hour and a half long."

Funniest thing I’ve ever seen on Broadway!
"Simon Rich is a comic genius with his sweet story telling and wacky sense of humor! I loved it! John Mulaney was brilliant and Chloe Fineman, Richard (one of a..) Kind and Fred Armisten were great too! Felt great to laugh so hard…thank you!!"

Spectacularly engaging vignettes
"Fabulously relatable and endearing depictions of love and friendship. The musicians added a magnificent layer to this incredible experience. Incredibly uplifting tales of humans at their best. "

A fun refelction on love and relationships
"I loved the sharp dialog and cutting humor! I didn't know exactly what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised! It reminded me slightly in style of Saturday Night Live, but longer and more developed pieces."

Love
"I thought the show was entertaining. It wasn’t polished but that made it funnier. The actors were great. Nick Kroll was great as Death!"

Great Cast.
"Enjoyed the show and cast. Only thing I would say I wish there were more stories. The ones they told were long. Had funny parts just felt like for cost it was a little lacking. "

Do not go see this with your children
"The tickets were given to us as a gift . The actors were funny, however, I was with my 22 year old daughter and we both found much of the content uncomfortable and inappropriate for us to see it together. The funniest parts were when the content was clean and relatable, such as the short story called “big nap “. The actor's read From binders and sat down the entire time. I’m not sure it really should have been characterized as a “broadway show”. Getting to the punch line of the stories were long and drawn out. Don’t waste your money unless you want to see SNL comedians. Just go to a local comedy club. "
