Ethan Coen World Premieres Almost An Evening at Atlantic
It was a double-whammy day of celebration for writer Ethan Coen on Tuesday, January 22, as, that morning, not only was he nominated for three Academy Awards (along with his filmmaker brother Joel) for writing, directing and producing the feature film No Country for Old Men, but it also marked Ethan's New York debut as a playwright —with the world premiere of three one-act plays at off-Broadway's Atlantic Theatre Company, under the umbrella title Almost An Evening. After the show, we joined Ethan, director Neil Pepe and their all-star cast for a big ol' toast. Take a look!
