What Is the Story of The Anarchist?
Set behind bars, David Mamet's new play centers on Cathy, who is serving an indeterminate sentence for a crime she committed in her youth, and Ann, her state parole liaison. After spending 35 years in prison, Cathy has found God and would like to be released so she can see her dying father and dedicate her life to serving others. Ann, who is on the verge of retirement, holds Cathy's fate in her hands and must try to ferret out the truth behind the prisoner's plea for freedom.
