They nabbed the hottest role for young talents on Broadway today, scored a Tony Award win for their shared performance in said role and are now turning out eight shows a week in the most decorated musical of the 2008-2009 season. How could things get better for Billy Elliot stars Kiril Kulish, Trent Kowalik and David Alvarez? Well, how about their own immortalized handprints on the wall at Times Square’s famed Planet Hollywood? The trio of star troupers hit the popular hangout on August 26, donating their ballet shoes to the restaurant’s priceless collection of Broadway memorabilia before pressing those paws into cement to take their rightful place on the wall. Broadway.com was there as the Kulish, Kowalik and Alvarez added yet another piece of theater history to their list—and we’ve got pictures for those of you who couldn’t make the ceremony in person.
