The Lane Event: Nathan and Company Open in Butley
Nathan Lane shows a more serious side as the depressive title character in Simon Gray's Butley, now in revival at Broadway's Booth Theatre. After his opening night performance on October 25, Lane joined the playwright (who turned 70 on October 21—Happy Birthday Mr. Gray!), the Butley company and numerous friends at a celebratory dinner at Cipriani in the Flatiron District. Lane and his talented co-stars accepted congratulations from first nighters, and as always, Broadway.com was there to capture the scene.
