You'd think kicking off the first ever Broadway revival of classic musical Bye Bye Birdie would tire leading man John Stamos out, but no--this star has got energy (and stage presence) to spare! Stamos wowed first preview audiences at Henry Miller's Theater on September 10, then dashed backstage following curtain, changed into some sexy threads and headed right for New York's Trattoria Dopo Teatro, where the restaurant was throwing a late-night celebration in his honor. The party feted the actor's addition to Trattoria Dopo Teatro's "Wall of Fame," and got started with an unveiling of artist Jim Warren's portrait of Stamos' famous face. The star didn't have to party alone, however; he was soon joined by the Birdie cast and a bevy of other cohorts, including former current leading lady Gina Gershon, onstage mom Jane Houdyshell, former ER co-star Linda Cardellini, soap star Ilene Kristen and In the Heights trouper Doreen Montalvo. Even the kids of Birdie's Sweet Apple, Ohio, dropped in for the event. Stamos, to his credit, put on a happy face for the entire late evening, as our pictures prove. Click around and see for yourself.
