"From the minute we approached the show, the experience started. The greeters were suburb and caring. As a person with accessibility issues, I was not ever made to feel uncomfortable but welcomed. There was never a minute where professionalism was not on display. The preshow was great and created the cabaret feel. ALL actors were stellar. Adam was even better than stellar, if there is such a thing. Applause is especially given for the use of a diverse cast. My only complaint is that NYC is so far from my home. "

The performances were absolutely stellar. The lead, with their magnetic stage presence, delivered a breathtaking portrayal of Sally Bowles. "This show is meant to get you thinking. The idea of the Cabaret being a place to lose your cares is great, until you get a perspective about everything else going on in the world.
Set in Berlin, pre-WWII, this is a timely metaphor.
Adam Lambert is seductive and dark, unlike anything you've seen on TV. He's wildly talented in both singing and acting.
This play is wonderfully disturbing and done incredibly well, start to finish.
Get there when the doors open in order to enjoy the pre-show performances before the main play begins. And, I'd advise getting the package that includes food. It's charcuterie or falafel and eating out of the stacked cans enhances the experience for the period.
