Chicago's 10th Anniversary, a Spectacular Blitz of Glitz
From the glittering red carpet arrivals to the revolving Roxies (and Velmas! And Billys! And Mamas! And Amos'! And…!) the scene at the Ambassador Theatre for the 10th anniversary performance of the Tony Award-winning revival of Chicago was a parade of stars to beat all parades of stars. By inviting dozens of former Chicago headliners back to give us another taste of their particular razzle dazzle, producers Fran and Barry Weissler really pulled out the stops for the November 14th event that also served as a benefit for Safe Horizon, raising $1.2 million for the organization which helps victims of violent crimes restore their lives. Congratulations to all, and here's to another decade of all that jazz!
