Dancing with the Stars co-host Samantha Harris danced her way into one of Broadway’s longest-running hits on July 7, taking the Ambassador Theatre’s stage as Chicago’s newest Roxie Hart. The two-time Emmy Award nominee and host of TV’s The Insider joined the show’s merry murderesses with ease, kicking up her heels with co-star Amra-Faye Wright in the most notorious cellblock on the Great White Way. (P.S. How about assigning a “cellblock tango” to the Dancing with the Stars hoofers? Just a thought…) The lovely Harris was all smiles during her big Broadway debut, celebrating her newest triumph along with her hubby, mom, dad and castmates with a steamy party at Inc. Lounge in the Time Hotel. The newly minted Broadway baby will be playing the role through August 16, and then she’ll head to Greenville, South Carolina to reprise the part for a limited engagement from August 18 to 23.
