Chita Welcomes B'way Gypsies to Runthrough of The Dancer's Life
Those lucky enough to score an invite got a special sneak peek of Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life on November 22, when Rivera and her supporting cast performed a gypsy run-through, an invited full-dress rehearsal solely for industry professionals on their day off. Of course Rivera is the ultimate Broadway gypsy, a dancer who through sheer talent carved a place for herself in theater history. Plus pretty much everyone loves her! So it's no surprise that many stars showed up to cheer the legend on during her premiere New York performance (the ticketing buying public can see the magic starting on November 23). Broadway.com caught all of the post-performance backstage love-fest.
