Here's the thing about Broadway... When your name is in lights, you tend to get a lot of attention--from friends old and new. Case in point: longtime hoofer Chita Rivera, who is currently knocking 'em dead in The Dancer's Life at the Schoenfeld Theatre, received a backstage visit from pal Shirley MacLaine on December 21. The two memorably starred in Bob Fosse's big screen version of Sweet Charity (with MacLaine in the lead and Rivera as best chum Nickie). What's the lesson here? When you are the star of a big Broadway show, your friends can (and will) see you now!
