Baltimore's favorite misunderstood delinquents danced onto Broadway April 24 as
Hairspray's distant relative,
Cry-Baby, made its big Broadway debut. A musical remake of the campy, cult-classic John Waters flick, the show, starring newcomer James Snyder in the title role, Elizabeth Stanley (
Company) as his virginal love Allison, and Broadway veteran Harriet Harris as Allison's upper-crust grandmother, doled out a heaping dose of candy-colored kitsch to a star-studded audience of Waters devotees. Afterward, at club Mansion in Chelsea, drapes and squares put their differences aside and joined forces in an all-out celebratory bash. Click here to party with the whole gang!
