First Night Exclusive: Jennifer Garner & Co. Toast Cyrano
With her famous hubby Ben Affleck in attendance, Daredevil movie star Jennifer Garner—who hasn't tread the Broadway boards since she was a veritable unknown understudy in the Roundabout's A Month in the Country a dozen years ago—took her first steps back on the Great White Way on Friday, October 12, as Roxane in David Leveaux's highly anticipated revival of the classic romance Cyrano de Bergerac, co-starring Rescue Me's rising star Daniel Sunjata as Christian and Tony winner Kevin Kline in the title role. Met by a throng of fans at the stage door, Garner, Sunjata and company graciously signed autographs after their first preview at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. We then joined the stars for a post-show toast at the W Hotel's Blue Fin restaurant in Times Square. Check it out.
