JIMNO is a multi-disciplinary performance artist and designer, most known for his drag persona, JIMBO the Drag Clown! He has been featured on three seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race and is the head of his successful design house, House of JIMBO, which is a clothing brand, merchandise retailer, and special-events producer. The break-out star of Canada’s Drag Race: Season One, JIMBO’s outstanding performance, shocking elimination, and iconic exit created an immediate fan favorite. Following his success on Canada’s Drag Race, JIMBO was cast on RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. The World (Season One), after which he embarked on his first world tour of 17 countries. Most recently, he competed and won RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8, and he is currently completing his second world tour, which has taken him around the US, UK, South America, and parts of Europe—with over 100 North American and Australian dates still to come!
JIMBO is also a musician, having written and released several singles, and has plans for a debut album. Additionally, JIMBO is a stand-up comedian, having toured the UK as a part of the “MP Present: Hater’s Roast Tour” and more was recently featured in a “World of Wonder” stand-up comedy special as one of his legendary winning Snatch game characters, Joan Rivers. JIMBO is currently writing and producing his first “One Queen Show,” featuring his characters and set to original music.
Prior to Drag Race, JIMBO worked as a costume and production designer for film and theater. His unique vision and style, combining clowning, fashion, performance, and business, has elevated him to one of the most well-known and successful artists in his field. His core values and philosophies center on choosing joy, sharing happiness, and giving love. He is a storyteller and clown, with a message of love, tolerance, and acceptance. He encourages people to embrace their weirdness, find strength in their uniqueness, and spread awesomeness through what brings them joy.
