At Sardi's on April 6, just prior to its Broadway opening, the company of Festen welcomed some of the old friends and patrons who helped their play cross the pond. Adapted by David Eldridge and directed by Rufus Norris from the Danish Dogme 95 film, The Celebration, Festen began its stage life at the acclaimed Almeida Theatre Company before moving on to the West End and now, Broadway. Wishing the new company good luck, we captured a few moments as Festen's past supporters met with its present caretakers. Take a look.
