Stage royalty Lynn Redgrave is back on the boards in New York, playing the title role in MCC Theater's production of
Grace. In a demanding, heart-wrenching performance, Redgrave, cast as a non-believing college professor, must come to terms with her son's intention to become an Episcopal priest. The play, by Mick Gordon and AC Grayling, opened at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on February 11, and not even an icy night could dim the warmth of the cast after their bows. Broadway.com hopped a train to the Village to salute Ms. Redgrave, Oscar Isaac and the rest of the company.
