Two years and three days after the official opening night of Jersey Boys, John Lloyd Young—who went from an unknown Broadway debut-er to winning every top acting prize on the Great White Way including the 2006 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his dazzling portrayal of the Four Seasons' famous front man Frankie Valli—passed through the stage door of the August Wilson Theatre for the last time on November 21. Young, who was scheduled to perform in the role through the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving, unknowingly took his final bow as Frankie on November 9 due to the stagehands strike. Still, good union member Young (like the rest of the Jersey Boys company) showed up to sign-in as "willing and able to work" to the end of his contract. And of course, on that final evening, Young was greeted by a throng of fans—including Broadway.com. Take a look.
