Joe Turner's Come Again on Broadway in a Fabulous Opening

August Wilson’s favorite play of his epic Century Cycle, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, is back where it belongs, on Broadway. Thanks to Lincoln Center Theater and director Bartlett Sher, this moving story of life in a Pittsburgh boarding house in 1911 has been given a gorgeously expressionistic production at the Belasco Theatre. After the opening night performance on April 16, the 11-member cast and guests walked a few steps west on 44th Street to celebrate with an elegant dinner at the Millennium Broadway Hotel.
