About & Juliet

& Juliet flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, all written by Max Martin and his collaborators, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more.

"I loved the storyline and how the songs sync with the story. It was like a dance party. My seats were good but I’d like to see it again down by the stage. "

"Sometimes the music(the bottom, aka the bass) was too loud. I sat in the mezzanine and had to stuff cotton in my ears. FYI, I am a cabaret performer, musician and composer and know what I’m talking about.) I enjoyed the show, just get a better balance. "

"We went to a matinee performance on a Sunday afternoon. Although I found the singing and the dancing to be excellent, I felt they could have done without the use of foul language, albeit limited. There were a group of young children sitting in front of us, and the mother was beside herself warning her kids to never, ever say that word (i.e. the "F" word). "

"It was delightfully clever! I was either smiling or laughing throughout the performance. It brought a modern vibe to a Shakespearean classic. I saw it with my husband and teenage daughter and we all loved it! "

"The pyrotechnics were outstanding. Acting and dancing was superb. Being older (82) I wasn’t familiar with the music. I knew only one song, but my middle age children recognized all of it. I quite dislike profanity, of which there was more than enough. I see it as an example of how the culture has deteriorated. Many references to contemporary issues; women empowerment, cross race romance, LGBTQ and anything else one can think of. "

"Love the show. Went with my husband, daughter and her friend. Show was funny, the story line was very creative and the music picked was perfect for the story line. A must see. This is not a show for young children. Don’t let the song titles fool you. The show is adult themed. "

"The cast is incredible. If you like musicals just for the vocal performances, I would highly recommend this. With that, I would’ve loved to have seen some original music—I think that typically contributes greatly to the musical as a whole. Remixing and mashing modern pop songs makes for a great experience but doesn’t do well to tie everything together. Especially when the story is not good enough to do that on its own. Overall: great music, funny script, not a great plot."

"It was lively, well choreographed, amazing singing. The social themes were current. Definitely targets a younger audience. For a fantasy story, it got to be a bit too much. "

"This RomCom was a cute play on what could have been of Romeo/Juliet. I will admit the second half was more vibrant, upbeat, enjoyable and spoke to my Millennial heart! I found the first half a bit dragging. The talent from the actors was incredible! "

"The actors were all very talented. The storyline was a bit chaotic. It says for children 8 and above- but I wouldn't bring a child under 13."
