She’d just gotten off a red-eye flight from L.A., but Jennifer Westfeldt looked fresh and lovely on July 1, the first day of rehearsals for the world premiere of Cusi Cram’s A Lifetime Burning. The super-busy Westfeldt, who arrived in New York directly from the set of the upcoming season of 24, plays the author of a fabricated memoir in this ripped-from-the-headlines dark comedy. We caught up with Westfeldt and her co-stars at a meet-and-greet at the headquarters of Primary Stages, just before the first table read of the play. A Lifetime Burning begins performances at 59E59 Theaters on July 28, kicking off the company’s 25th anniversary season. Truly a summer treat!
