Hit musical Mamma Mia! is on a hot streak so sizzling that it's steaming past summer and right on into fall. First, there was the smash success film, which, since its release, has gone on to become the third-highest grossing movie musical in Hollywood history. And on September 4, Broadway's Mamma Mia! broke another record, playing its 2844th performance and passing the legendary Hello, Dolly! to become the 16th longest-running musical to ever hit the Great White Way. Stars Carolee Carmello, Judy McLane and more gathered backstage at the Winter Garden Theatre to celebrate this milestone, and to (very respectfully, of course) add Hello Dolly! to their list of shows they've topped so far.
