"Loved the sets, costumes, choreography and ensemble performances, as well as the clever mingling of so many popular songs. Personally, I did not like the female lead’s voice, and did not feel the connection between her and the male lead, whose voice I thought was stronger. "Saw Moulin Rouge last night and overall it was ok. While the set, costumes, and music were all awesome, the storyline was a bit boring and dragged on too long for my friends and I. All of us were bored by the second act. Wasn’t a terrible way to spend our evening but I definitely wouldn’t do it again and would recommend people go see another play instead. "

"Satine was obviously sick or otherwise incapable of singing her parts, which made for a really dreadful experience. I wish they had replaced her at intermission once it became clear she couldn't hit any notes that night. In terms of vocal performance, really not on par with what I expect from Broadway.
