"Loved the sets, costumes, choreography and ensemble performances, as well as the clever mingling of so many popular songs. Personally, I did not like the female lead’s voice, and did not feel the connection between her and the male lead, whose voice I thought was stronger. However, this did not affect my overall enjoyment of this spectacular show!"

"Music as very good, the sound, however, was not. Lots of distortion, low volume on a few singers, and-or their voices were strained and tired. Always a good time with such a classic, but perhaps in need of improvement of the little things, and maybe a refresh of performers, who at times seemed uninspired "

"I love musicals and I love the movie Moulin Rouge. So maybe I had too high expectations going in to this, but the performance left me cold. The scenography is mesmerazing, the imput of modern elements witty but the overall effect just fell flat for me."

"Saw Moulin Rouge last night and overall it was ok. While the set, costumes, and music were all awesome, the storyline was a bit boring and dragged on too long for my friends and I. All of us were bored by the second act. Wasn’t a terrible way to spend our evening but I definitely wouldn’t do it again and would recommend people go see another play instead. "

"Satine was obviously sick or otherwise incapable of singing her parts, which made for a really dreadful experience. I wish they had replaced her at intermission once it became clear she couldn't hit any notes that night. In terms of vocal performance, really not on par with what I expect from Broadway. The dialogue is also a bit hard to distinguish at times. "

"This show was mediocre at best. I felt like I was sitting in a kids concert instead of a broadway show. Very disappointing."
