The New Group resuscitated a quiet week in the New York theater district with some
Mouth to Mouth on November 6, opening the acclaimed play by Kevin Elyot at Theatre Row on 42nd Street.
Mouth to Mouth follows Frank, a writer living with AIDS, who may or may not have played a part in the unraveling of his best friend’s family. The haunting drama nabbed an Olivier Award nomination and Evening Standard Award for Best New play during its debut run on London’s West End. Stars Christopher Abbot, David Cale, Lisa Emery, Darren Goldstein, Elizabeth Jasicki, Andrew Polk and Richard Topol were more than pleased to celebrate the NYC run with an intimate fete at the West Bank Café.
