Jez Butterworth's smart sensibility is back on display at the Atlantic Theater Company with
Parlour Song, his take on domestic paranoia. The play, starring Chris Bauer, Jonathan Cake and Emily Mortimer, opened on March 5. The drama ruefully asks, “What happens when two ordinary people discover they hate what they have become?” The piece marks the third collaboration between the British playwright and off-Broadway theater company, which previously mounted director Neil Pepe's productions of Mojo and The Night Heron.
