"It was a great and inspiring story that resonates even more in these current, turbulent times. The cast was great, it was well written/directed and had wonderful performances. Although it was about a specific group of people, the family dynamics can be found in so many homes worldwide. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend the upbeat, fun, moving evening of Broadway. The only reason I did not check that it would be appropriate for children was because there were some 'adult' themes that might make some uncomfortable - depends on your mentality and the age of the children. "

"This show was an amazing exhibit and demonstration of the immigrant experience, opening the heart and the soul to the wide range of emotions, experienced by the strong women who risk everything to come to this country to build better lives for their families. I laughed, I smiled, I cried, I felt so many emotions as these actors sing with such passion and danced and told the story of strong women standing up for what is right. "While I’ve been to NYC before, this was my first Broadway experience. I’ve seen a lot of the world, but something was so inspiring and I was in awe seeing the production, the acting, dancing, singing, humor, the deeper issues, etc. beautiful story of Latina women and some of the daily struggles they face.
