Reasons to be Pretty Readies for Beautiful Broadway Transfer

The transfer of MCC’s Theater’s acclaimed production of Neil LaBute’s Reasons to be Pretty is looking pretty good these days, as the play gears up to play Broadway beginning on March 13. The show, which met the press on February 17, enjoyed a successful world premiere at off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre last summer, and will officially open at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre on April 2. The third piece in LaBute’s trilogy of though-provoking and laugh-out-loud funny plays on America’s obsession with beauty, Reasons to be Pretty stars original cast members Thomas Sadoski and Piper Perabo, as well as newcomers Marin Ireland and Steven Pasquale, who will play out the story of what happens when one man’s remark about a female coworker’s looks unravels his seemingly simple, blue-collar world and the relationships around him.
