The youth are f*cked. Left to their own devices in their parents’ world of violent ends, an impulsive pair of star-crossed lovers hurtle towards their inescapable fate. The intoxicating high of passion quickly descends into a brutal chaos that can only end one way.
"The production was amazing! Not what I expected. I thought it would be hard to understand with the original text, but they made it so easy. Plenty of comedic relief and the songs were great!!! Soundtrack please!"

"In times when the value of relationships is newly defined, loyalty sometimes becomes rather short lived and romance is sadly often lost in digital meanderings, could the classical tale of Romeo and Juliet possibly be somewhat outdated?
Well, as the vibrant performance of the spectacular cast proved yesterday evening, this could not be further from the truth. Of course the production was uncompromisingly contemporary with Shakespeare meeting LGBTQ+ off Broadway, but the main ingredients of undoubting love, family values, betrayal and many more were still conveyed in an artistic interpretation of the highest class.
Sobbing spectators, apparently unfamiliar with the plot, at the tragic end, thunderous applause by the mesmerised audience and the unanswered question of the more rational but equally impressed spectators, how on earth the actresses and actors succeeded in memorising such an enormous number of linguistically and emotionally highly challenging dialogues, were all but a few proofs that this was a night to be truly remembered and to be recommended to all who have not given up on love in its most romantic form. "It was a fun show. Enjoyed the music. The actors were great. Thought Rachel Z was a great Juliet and Kit was great as Romeo. Was ok for my 13 year old - but not sure I would bring a younger kid. "

"This show gained much from the venue. The very intimate stage and closeness to the action throughout the entire show were very positively memorable. Each actor made their roles their own and were enjoyable, but only some were successful in delivering the spirit of the original Shakespeare, that may or may not be on purpose, hard to tell.
However, I would recommend this as a very exciting, engaging, and entertaining experience. Also, probably not for children."

"I enjoyed Juliet and Romeo. I did not get the others and the provocative dancing and vulgar actions. I understand the modernization but there is a way to do that without being vulgar. "

"I liked Rachel Zegler‘s exquisite voice and the attempt to provide a modern interpretation of Shakespeare’s classic. Unfortunately, too vulgar and extreme for my taste. "

"Sexual innuendos, men playing women, stuffed animals, no costumes, 10 minute intermission with no re-entry, restroom lines so long couldn’t be done in 10 minutes. Rare moments of singing were good, but that is about all I can say that was good. Didn’t see the second half, as my party couldn’t get thru the restroom line in time to get back to seats. Horrible experience."
