About Shatner's World: We Just Live In It

What Is the Story of Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It?
Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It takes audiences on a 90-minute theatrical voyage through William Shatner’s life and career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur, known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work. Best known to TV fans for playing Captain Kirk on Star Trek, Shatner offers insight into many of his other notable small-screen roles, including T.J. Hooker, Rescue 911, The Practice and Boston Legal. Returning to Broadway for the first time since 1962’s A Shot in the Dark, Shatner aims to dispel the myths shrouding his persona while answering one simple question: Who am I, really?

The New York Times

"Despite the absurdly (joshingly?) self-aggrandizing title, Mr. Shatner shows a welcome tendency to poke fun at himself. One comes away from ‘Shatner’s World’ with a thorough grounding in virtually all phases of Mr. Shatner’s career." "

The New York Times

Charles Isherwood

Entertainment Weekly

"At 80 years old, Shatner has a seemingly bottomless reserve of energy, and 'Shatner's World' is undeniably fun. It's Shatner's show: We're just living through it."

Entertainment Weekly

Darren Franich

The Hollywood Reporter

"To quote a famous 'Star Trek' catchphrase, resistance is futile to William Shatner’s one-person show. The octogenarian actor is such an engagingly hammy and funny raconteur that only the most curmudgeonly will begrudge him this celebration of his life and career."
