Broadway's Brightest Sing Out at Sardi's for Broadway.com's "Working Lunch"
Theatre Direct International, the group sales division of Broadway.com, hosted an intimate "Working Lunch" for leaders in group sales at the legendary Sardi's on July 24. Guests were given sneek peeks of upcoming productions like Billy Elliot, Shrek the Musical and Godspell, whose composer Stephen Schwartz took the piano and treated the crowd to a medley of songs from the show. Joining along were representatives from long-running hits like Chicago, The Lion King, Mamma Mia! and Jersey Boys, who gave insider-style updates on what theatergoers can expect from them. Also on hand were Spamalot's Drew Lachey, Mandy Gonzalez from In the Heights, Carey Anderson of Avenue Q, and of course, Bailey Hanks, fresh from her victory on MTV's Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods.
