Shrek the Musical welcomed some impressive guests this week. Hugh Jackman and Steven Spielberg both made their way to the Broadway Theatre to see the new stage adaptation of the blockbuster animated movie. You don’t have to play an elaborate six-degrees-of-Shrek game to trace their connections to the lovable, lime-colored ogre. Spielberg co-founded DreamWorks, the company that produced both the movie and the musical. Jackman may play an idol at the multiplex (co-starring with Nicole Kidman in this season’s Australia, in addition to hosting the forthcoming Academy Awards ceremony in February). But we know the sexiest man alive (according to People Magazine) is a Broadway baby at heart, having wooed audiences with his Tony Award-winning turn in The Boy from Oz and his Tony-hosting duties. Cl
