The last day of March was a particularly glitzy one in always-sparkling Las Vegas, as
the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005
Spamalot opened at the newly created Grail Theater of the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel. Starring
Dancing with the Stars fave (and recent
Chicago headliner) John O'Hurley, the rollicking musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from the motion picture
Monty Python and the Holy Grail," was ushered into its run by the show's original Tony-winning director Mike Nichols, as well as Python icons Eric Idle and John Du Prez. With these guys in charge, is it any surprise that the opening night red carpet roster included the likes of Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Eddie Izzard
and Ashley Tisdale, Ben Vereen, Phyllis McGuire, Robert Goulet and Siegfreid & Roy? Nope. And we got 'em all—
plus some. Click on.
