Judy Kaye Dons Mrs. Lovett's Apron in Sweeney Todd

Tony nominee Judy Kaye will sub for the vacationing Patti LuPone in Sweeney Todd for eight performances, starring as Mrs. Lovett opposite Michael Cerveris from June 20-25. Kaye—who has played the role before—tried out her new costume onstage at Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre just before her first performance. Broadway.com marveled at the transformation.
