Can you spell helicopter? Lea Salonga can (and since she's a world-famous alum of Miss Saigon, it would be a shame if she couldn't!). Salonga joined fellow Broadway stars Brian Stokes Mitchell and Raul Esparza as "guest spellers" on March 18 at The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Audience members delighted in seeing the starry threesome share the bleachers at Circle in the Square with the lovably nerdy characters in William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin's hit musical, oohing and ah-ing at Mitchell's prowess as a speller. Camera and dictionary in hand, Broadway.com joined the fun.
