Kristin Chenoweth Opens The Apple Tree at Studio 54
She's baaaaaaaack! That petite blonde dynamo Kristin Chenoweth, who—prior to perking up the final season of The West Wing and popping up at the multiplex in RV and Deck the Halls—bewitched Broadway audiences as the original Glinda in Wicked and won a Tony Award for her sassy Sally in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, officially returned to the Great White Way on December 14. Headlining the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick's whimsical musical triptych The Apple Tree— which employs three separate stories to explore its theme of "men, women and temptation"—Chenoweth also shares the Studio 54 stage with two Tony-nominated Broadway faves Marc Kudisch ( Millie, Chitty) and Brian d'Arcy James (Sweet Smell of Success).
