Saved By the Off-Broadway Bell: Dustin Diamond Joins The Awesome 80s Prom
“Playing a comic character makes me happiest,” Diamond tells Broadway.com. “On Celebrity Fit Club I played the bad guy—that whole show is scripted, of course. People think it was real. Now people see me and think ‘He’s a mean person.’ But I was working with producers who told me what to say. I’m definitely not going to be the bad guy in Awesome 80s Prom!”
