At the dawn of the new age, upstanding Midwesterns Cyrus and Lottie take in a transient Southern couple, Dan and Dinah. Dreams converge with sexual tension, suppressed emotions with desire, flooding the carefully laid landscape Cyrus and Lottie have designed.
