Fantasia Barrino was awash in tears as she took her curtain call after her first performance in The Color Purple on Broadway—yup, a true American Idol has finally made it to the Great White Way. And frankly, Fantasia's outpouring of love and gratitude swept the contours of the Broadway Theatre on April 10 to embrace her fellow castmates, creative team and the entire audience as well.
