A betwitching bacchanal based on William Shakespeare's libido-laced A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Donkey Show opened to an unsuspecting theatrical community in 1999.The musically driven evening's sensually-soaked 70 minutes tells the story of euphoric lust gone haywire. Nightclub impresario Oberon and his sidekick Dr. Wheelgood cook up an evening of funky love as they spoon-feed a passion potion to a quartet of club-goers, two guys named Vinnie, and the diva goddess of the moon, Titania. The enchanted forest of Shakespeare's comedy classic becomes the glittering world of retro disco, set to the tunes you know by heart, like, ""Car Wash," "Ring My Bell," "You Sexy Thing," and "I'm Your Boogie Man."Make a night of The Donkey Show. You can grab a drink and dance under the disco ball or watch the revelry from the sidelines. After the show, the party continues all night long, so live it up Studio 54-style!
