Sneaking a Peek at The Great American Trailer Park Musical
Perhaps it was in the great tradition of musical theater looking to the lower classes for inspiration (My Fair Lady or West Side Story, anyone?) that the The Great American Trailer Park Musical born. Or perhaps not. Nevertheless, there is terrific material to be found among the weeds and colorful characters of trailer parks. From tater tot pies to strippers with attitude, we are so looking forward to this new piece. To whet our whistles, we attended a rehearsal for the show on August 3 at Dodger Stages. The new musical opens on August 20. See you there!
