It appears that nothing was gonna keep the company of
The Homecoming down. As the stagehands strike careened into its second week, imposing a work stoppage on Broadway that included the Cort Theatre (where the revival of the Harold Pinter family drama was to begin previews this Thanksgiving week),
Homecoming director Daniel Sullivan and his stars Ian McShane, Raul Esparza, Eve Best, Michael McKean, James Frain and Garethe Saxe decided to perform a reading of the play that they've been rehearsing for the past month at off-Broadway's New World Stages as a benefit for Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS. With a house full of family, friends and showbiz folk, plus a surprise visit from Chelsea Clinton, we caught a few snaps of the November 25th fundraiser. Check it out.
