Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. With a book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that’s one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all time, the musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s The Notebook comes to Broadway following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.

"Great performance beautifully depicting the raw emotions of Alzheimer’s, love, and the realization that time is a thief. Maryann Plunkett was amazing…"

"I thought the play was written very well depicting the stages of Alli and Noah’s life… Friends were confused by the racial differences through the stages… But knowing the story as well as I do, I thought it was amazing!"

"I was very skeptical about this show, I didn't know how they were going to pull it off between the past when they were young and the future when they were old. but to my surprise they pulled it off. the actors and actress were all amazing, they all did an exceptional job. I strongly recommend the notebook. If I lived around the New York area I would go, see it again."

"I absolutely loved the show. The cast was incredible! We saw The Great Gatsby, The Outsiders, and the Notebook on our trip. I would recommend the great Gatsby to people who love immersive stage experience/flashy parties (does have a TON of cheating, know the story before bringing kids to it), the Outsiders to people who love insane dance (although it gets a bit violent), and the Notebook to those who like the simplicity of the music. Even though there were very few crazy effects/choreography, the show was very emotionally touching and honestly didn’t need it. The music is exceptional, and the three versions of each character really take you through the journey of a lifetime."

"The music was beautiful. All of the actors were terrific. Middle Allie was my personal favorite. Spectacular voice and wonderful stage presence. She has a very, very bright future ahead of her.
We went on a Tuesday night and the theater was packed and the audience was very engaged as evidenced my the many interruptions by applauses. "
