Excellent and talented cast
"Loved the Notebook. The entire cast was so very talented. The director did a great job of showcasing young Noah and Allie with their older selves. Very well done. Didn’t include everything in the book or movie; but the music more than made up for it. "

One of the best I've seen for a while!
"My husband and I did not know anything about the story before we went. We were pleasantly surprised. This production had it all - a warm and tender love story, humor, and great musical numbers performed by a great cast. Both of us (and a lot of those around us) were moved to tears. To me, that says something when the audience is moved to tears by a wonderful script and a group of very talented actors. A must see!!"

Best love story Musical
"The notebook is my number one favorite movie and to see this become a musical was the absolute best thing I’d recommended for everyone to see it. Will have you laughing and tearing just as it’s described but better whether you seen the movie or not you get the message. It’s so powerful. "

A beautiful rendition
"This performance was amazing. It was a superb rendition of the book, with the laughter and the sadness so masterfully created for a stage. The actors were phenomonal. Absolutely recommend. "

A Bittersweet Love Story
"The story held true to the book and movie. It was very well done. The cast and crew were superb. I didn’t think my husband would enjoy the play as much as me but he loved it, too. The downside is I’m truly sorry the Notebook’s final performance is in December. If you have the opportunity to see this play, please do, you won’t be disappointed."

What a beautiful show!
"I would not have been running to see The Notebook on Broadway, but a review by a trusted friend lead me to buy a ticket. And boy am I glad I did. What a beautiful show! SO moving. I'm don't think I've ever seen a theater of more people moved to tears. I was already a bubbling mess at intermission, and by the end I was crying out loud in my seat. I didn't move for at least 5 mins when the lights came up. Fantastic performances, especially by the Older versions of the characters. (And the young versions were stellar as well). What a book! Such a shame it is closing. Go see this show!"

True to the book with delightful music
"The orchestration is terrific, the set is terrific, the actors are terrific and the entire show is wonderful but very emotional. It's going to be a great traveling show, looking forward to seeing that and how they handle the sets. "

Great show but….
"It is a powerful emotional experience. The story is well constructed the cast is superb. The stagecraft is extraordinary. The only aspect that in my opinion could be improved is the music. The music were more in a romantic vein with a few songs that could be remembered for the melody line and for the lyrics, I think this show would run for years on Broadway, but I do want to emphasize that is a very enjoyable and worthwhile show experience "

Emotional
"I think the folks who adapted this into a musical did a wonderful job. The actors showed the emotions that the audience could share. Having had a parent who suffered from this disease it helped me to remember the good times as well as the bad times that I shared with my mom. I would highly recommend reading the book prior to attending the musical. "

Loved the Story telling
"I love Mr. Harewood (familiar with his acting from TV) He was amazing telling the story, depicting the love for his wife and his unconditional commitment to her. The rest of the cast was great in the different roles they played. Loved the music and how beautifully the cast sounded. I honestly loved this play (was not sure when buying ticket) and it was worth the trip to the theater."

2-hour Cryfest (in a good way)
"We added this to our week last minute based on several people telling us how good it was. They were right. The movie explores a love story and I love it, but this musical explored that in a way I can’t quite describe. It reminds us that time is so precious and to not be taken for granted. We were here for our 10-year anniversary trip. We talked afterwards about how there is never enough time with each other. It was beautiful and I had the best cry. "

Bring lots of Kleenex!
"This show was such a great love story but also extremely sad. Having gone through a personal trauma of a loved one with Alzheimer’s, it hit close to home. It is a beautiful story and a must see."

Date night with my daughter…
"My daughter and I are from Nova Scotia, Canada. We celebrated her 19th birthday in NYC and decided it was the best time to see her first show. I am thrilled that it was The Notebook. It was the perfect blend of raw emotion combined with whitty humour. We were captivated and never wanted it to end. I would go back in an instant. Bravo! "

Don’t walk, run!
"It was by far the best show I attended in my life. The voices were so beautiful and the harmonies were perfect. The acting was so good that I cried during almost the entire show. The story of the notebook was adapted in a really good way for a musical, I sincerely loved it! Don’t walk, run!"
