"The Outsiders has been my favorite book since the end of elementary school, so it was a no brainer for me that it would be my first on Broadway show! It was also my daughter’s birthday celebration! I cannot recommend the show enough, it is mostly spot on to the book with a little extra pizazz (I won’t spoil it for you)! The actors stayed so true to character. We did have the understudy (Trevor) as the lead the night we went, and he did not disappoint! His voice is clearer to me than the original lead’s recordings. We stayed after to meet the cast, and they couldn’t be kinder. My daughter is already planning a trip back to NYC to specifically see this show. "

It’s a story about life, and the connections we have with the people around us.
The whole production - the songs, the lyrics, the presentation, and of course the actors, brought out the feelings of what happened in Tulsa in 1967.
I watched it twice (once in March/April 2024) and recently in Oct 2024, and both performances I felt the emotions in me.
It’s highly recommended not just for the performances and the production but also how the stories can relate to us in our own lives.

"It was a high energy ensemble with great performances from all cast members. It is one of those shows where I couldn't determine which performance I liked best which is a great problem to have. The show deserves the accolades that it has received already .There are moments that were reminiscent of West Side Story, Rent and Grease. "Having grown up reading this book and watching the movie repeatedly there was no way I was going to miss out seeing it on broadway.
Wow! What a show! The music the dancing every minute of the entire performance was amazing.
I am already planning a return trip to see it again! I can’t imagine anyone having a negative experience. Every seat in the house appears to be a great place to see the stage. It was clean and every person I came in contact with was helpful and courteous.
