While we all breathlessly await the release of Joel Schumacher's film version of The Phantom of the Opera, which is already earning Oscar buzz a month before hitting theaters, fans of the stage show hang onto every glimpse of the lavish big screen creation. It's no wonder, then, that hundreds of fans lined up across from Bloomingdale's on November 18, where Schumacher, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and the film's stars--Gerard Butler, Emmy Watson, Patrick Wilson and Minnie Driver--introduced clips from the movie, including the stunning opening sequence. The talented troupe also welcomed in holiday shopping season by lighting the Bloomie's Christmas lights and unveiling the store's stunning Phantom themed windows.
