David Mamet's Voysey Inheritance Opens Off-Broadway

David Mamet came home to New York this week—if not literally, then to the theatrical home-away-from-home that he co-founded: the Atlantic Theater Company, where his new translation of Harley Granville Barker's Edwardian family drama The Voysey Inheritance opened on December 6 at ATC's resident off-Broadway playhouse on West 20th Street. After the opening night bows, we joined Voysey's company, headed by Tony winner Fritz Weaver and Michael Stuhlbarg (The Pillowman), at the Manor on 8th Avenue and 14th Street for a post-show toast. Toddy up!
