The holiday spirit was alive and kicking on November 3, as the cast of Irving Berlin’s
White Christmas, which begins performances at the Marquis Theatre on November 14, assembled at 890 Broadway’s rehearsal studios to greet the press with a little song and dance. The classic story of two showbiz buddies who put on a show in a scenic Vermont inn while happily juggling encounters with love, the show features Stephen Bogardus (in a role originated by Bing Crosby in the 1954 film), Jeffry Denman, Kerry O’Malley and Meredith Patterson as the tale’s heartwarming quartet. In addition to the obvious holiday classic “White Christmas,” the show also boasts hummable ditties like “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Sisters” and “How Deep is the Ocean.” But enough with the caroling—click here to get a sneak peek of the show!
